 Difficult feelings and life situations can be a gateway for personal growth.  Many individuals struggle with depression and anxiety, trauma, problems in relationships, children and family issues as well as work-related conflicts.  Stepping Stones Counseling Services, LLC started with the mission to assist individuals, couples and families take a step in the right direction. This means that we strive to provide high quality therapeutic services to assist persons in improving their lives. At Stepping Stones we work to help you identify potential areas of growth and walk with you on that journey.

Meet our Therapists

Aliceson McCormick, MSW, LISW-CP

    Aliceson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations.   Aliceson especially enjoys working with children, adolescents and families. She also utilizes the Family Systems Model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, parenting coaching and communication techniques for couples.  Aliceson is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).   She has experience working with abuse and neglect victims, and sexually reactive youth. Aliceson trained as a Domestic Violence Advocate.

Marika’ Dillard, LISW-CP

 

Marika’ Dillard is a Licensed Master Social Worker that has experience working for the Department of Social Services and serving in various positions within the educational field. Marika' enjoys working with adolescents, children, and families. Marika uses various therapeutic practices including, cognitive behavior therapy, client-centered therapy, art therapy, and other strengths-based approaches to empower clients and improve individual functioning.

Lacey Mack, LPCA

       Lacey has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups.  She strongly believes in the practices of Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered, Solution Focused therapy approach, and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT).  Lacey has experience working with the following areas: Grief/Loss, Depression, Anxiety, Self-Esteem, work/life stressors and developing Coping Skills. 

Anna Sharpe, LMFT

Anna is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, families, adults, and couples. Anna has worked in community mental health, school mental health, residential mental health facilities, and therapeutic foster care settings. Anna utilizes positive parenting strategies for parents to use at home, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, the Family Systems Model, and expressive arts. When working with couples, Anna assists in strengthening communication and emotional connection, while using trauma-informed and family of origin perspectives. Anna is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT). 

Carole Sarn, MEd, LPC, NCC

    Carole is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience in education and counseling in both college and private practice settings. She specializes in family systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Carole enjoys working with adolescents and couples. Her experience includes helping clients with challenging relationship issues, abuse, depression, anxiety, grief and loss.

Markley Hawkins, LISW-CP, LCSW

     Markley has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and groups. She uses a biopsychosocial assessment to develop a treatment plan for clients. She specializes in anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, children with attention disorders and disruptive behaviors. Markley uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), parenting coaching, expressive and play therapy techniques. She is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Rates

Rates

The fees per session is $100.00-150.00 per hour. We accept some major insurance providers.

Appointments:

Morning, afternoon, and evening appointments are available for your convenience.  If you need to contact your therapist you will be provided with contact information following your initial appointment.  We will make every effort to be available to you, but in an emergency, you need to contact your local emergency room.

Payment:

Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment of services.  A fee is charged when paying with a card.

 

 

 

Cancellation Policy:

If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified your therapist at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $50.00 un-kept fee.
